In my short time working with Rita, I have found her to be responsive, forward thinking and accommodating. To that end, and as the Ethics training modules are introduced to our firm, I am confident Rita’s team will have prepared a comfortable learning experience better preparing our staff members for the ethical challenges that lay ahead.

I recently attended the SLSI (Society of Land Surveyors of Iowa) 82nd Annual Conference on March 7, 2019, I have personally attended every SLSI Annual Conference since 1996.

At this conference we had the pleasure of a guest speaker, Rita Perea, the timing was perfect as Iowa had recently passed legislature requiring 2 Hours of continuing education in “Ethics.”

Her presentation was exceptional and extremely enlightening regarding her intimate knowledge of Business and Professional Ethics, exploring real world scenarios that a Surveyor will encounter in both professional and personal life, which to surveyors, the two are an integral part of each other.

I exceedingly recommend if you can attend a conference in which Rita is a presenter, you will leave with a sense of renewed sense of empowerment and the knowledge you will retain all of the information presented to support you in your endeavors.

We usually have around 325 people attending our annual land surveyors conference. At this year’s conference we had a two-hour presentation on ethics, by Rita Perea, which began right after lunch. I’m sure some people were thinking this would be a good chance to catch some Zzzs. However, this is the first time I have ever seen a presenter challenge all the attendees at the same time to converse with a neighbor on a topic and then share their answers with the entire group. This was definitely out of the normal practice for our conference and forced people out of their comfort zone. Rita made this experience fun for the entire group.”
